Where does the time go?

I have started this paragraph about 7 times, erased, and started again. How do I even put into words the pivots life has taken over the past 3 years?

I could frame up where I was and what I was doing and all of the life events that have happened over the past 36 months, however a very wise woman once taught me that relating to someone’s future is a MUCH more powerful way to live, so I will share where I am headed instead. Thanks Sus.

3 THINGS:

1.     I am nearing the end of my coursework in the East West Psychology PhD program at California Institute of Integral Studies. I have been a remote student for two years, taking courses virtually and online. I will begin my research next summer, diving deeply into the works of Mary Magdalene outside of the context of religion, instead learning from her beautiful and fiery ability to love and how that can transform our mental health. I will talk endlessly about this topic if you ever want to hear more, please ask. In 5 years you will find me lecturing at Universities around the world, sharing the love.

2.     I am ramping up coaching again with a renewed remembrance of what I bring to the table. As clients began organically showing up again, I was reminded that this work is like breathing to me. I am energized and my heart is filled every time I work with clients. I am forever grateful for a conversation with a friend that sparked my heart to be open to this work again. Brandyn Negri, you are a force. In 5 years, you will find me working with individuals and organizations, much as I do now, inspiring others to lead from their heart in all areas of their lives.

3.     I have returned to my hometown to live. I have reached a point in my life where quiet, nature, family, and slowing down are what I need to thrive. This has allowed me to dedicate time to my health, my community, and my relationships. I have joined local government and I am learning how to write grants to clean up our local lake (Leslie Knope Jr. over here). I see my 92 year old grandfather every week and get to visit The Farm (the setting to my most precious childhood memories) often. I spend my evenings playing games with my partner and his family, or watching my high school son play football. In 5 years, you can find me traveling the world, always coming back to our home base here and on The Farm.

Your turn. What are 3 things you want people to know about where you going in life?
